Margaret is the country’s leading expert in show design, planning and management honed through 11 consecutive years with the NAFAS National Show.

For three years she was the Chairman of the NAFAS National Show committee which designs, plans and manages this most significant and prestigious annual event in the global Flower Arranging diary She has been responsible for the last three shows in Harrogate, Torquay and Southport.

The most recent of these was so successful that only a single formal complaint was received from thousands of competitors and attendees.

She was previously the Show Secretary at Stoneleigh in 1995, Competitions Secretary at Cardiff in 2000 and since 2002 as Vice Chairman and Staging Manager has been solely responsible for design and staging of all sections on the show and the management of contractors ensuring that the venues are ready for competitors and trade exhibitors and a successful and on-time hand back to exhibitors.

This continuous service for a staggering 11 consecutive shows gives her an unparalleled experience of the design, planning, and management of show – unique in NAFAS

The Show at the Southport Theatre and Convention Centre  had 18 classes, 480 Competitors and 40 very demanding trade exhibitors. It was attended by over 6000 enthusiasts
